PURPOSE:To perform a sounding function other than the alarm by arranging a chime to be striken intermittently fixed times each with a wooden bell hammer. CONSTITUTION:A single pulse is applied to a DC motor 10 and the width thereof is properly to enable the rotation of a rotor by 180 deg.. This allows one 11a of striking balls of a rotary wooden bell hammer 11 to strike a chime 12 by once to generate a single soft bell sound. So, a set confirming sounds ''ring and ring'' as sounding function by producing the pulse at an appropriate interval, for example, two pulses at the setting of the alarm. In other words, the alarm is set by closing a sound stopping switch 5 to generates two pulses at said appropriate interval from a pulse generation circuit 13. Thus, the motor 10 is driven at an appropriate interval and the chime 12 is striken twice with the striking ball 11a thereby generating a set confirming sound of the alarm. |
