PURPOSE:To find the condition of a target by a Doppler detection at the LFM transmission by detecting a Doppler deflection due to the movement thereof from a time difference between two correlation processing output signals. CONSTITUTION:Output signal of a time comporession circuit 24 is applied to an LFM correlation processing circuit 25 (LFM signal received of anti-increasing frequency) and an LFM correlation processing circuit 26 (LFM signal received of anti-decreasing frequency). Two correlation processing output signals with the LFM signal received of anti-increasing frequency and the LMF signal received of anti-decreasing frequency are detected in the Doppler deflection with a Doppler detection circuit 27. So to speak, the time difference of two correlation processing output signals is equivalent to a half of the transmission pulse width for a target without Doppler, larger than the half of the pulse width for a target with a Doppler and shorter than the half of the pulse width a low Doppler. Thus, the detection of a Doppler deflection due to the movement the target is possible by measuring the time difference. |
