Removal of an electric plug from a socket often involves application of considerably effort to that plug or to its associated flex. In order to overcome this the plug may include an ejection mechanism comprising either a lever or a threaded ring surrounding the plug. The plug may then be ejected by pressure on the lever or rotation on the ring.
