Electric convection heater constructed from extruded aluminium parts

The electric heating elements or plates of an electric heater are arranged within a receiving chamber 10 on either side of which are arrayed a plurality of heat sink members 20. The heat sink members and the receiving chamber are formed of aluminum extrusions. The controller 40 mounted on the heater controls power supply to the heating elements. Heat energy from the elements is absorbed by the extruded aluminum plates of the receiving chamber and conducted to the heat sink extrusions whereby heat is exchanged by convection with cool air.
