PURPOSE:To improve the percentage of successful ending operation, by passing a yarn end through an air false-twisting nozzle, holding the yarn with a yarn-end holding tube, and restricting the length of the retained yarn to the proper length. CONSTITUTION:When the transfer of the yarn end from the yarn-end sucking tube 21 to the yarn-end holding tube 28, the yarn sensor 33 is energized, and the revolution of the piecing roller 22 is reversed to introduce the yarn into the yarn-end holding tube 28 until the yarn end reaches the position of the yarn sensor 33, when the detect signal is transmitted to stop the motion of the piecing roller 22. A yarn of definite length can be retained surely by setting the distance lbetween the yarn sensor and the end of the holding tube to the necessary yarn length. |
