PURPOSE:To reduce the dimension of the structure and facilitate separation of a copying paper sheet from a photosensitive drum by installing a copying-paper pinching mechanism and a copying-paper sheet reversing mechanism and compulsorily reversing the copying-paper in a reverse transfer passage for copying paper sheet and allowing the paper sheet to be compulsorily curled. CONSTITUTION:When a copying paper sheet which passed through a copying mechanism reaches a fixation mechanism 8 through a transfer passage 12 and copying is completed, said paper sheet is discharged outside the machine through a discharge passage 13 in case of one-side copying. While, in case of double-surface copying, the copying paper sheet is fed into a detour 14 by switching a switching member 15 to the position shown by a chain line. When a sensor 19 detects the coming-in of the copying paper, the pinching tool 18 of a pinching mechanism 27 is closed to hold the top edge of the copying paper. Then, a rod-shaped reversing tool 23 of a reversing mechanism is horizontally shifted rightward by a chain, etc., and the copying paper is transferred into a reverse transfer passage 21, and then reversed and curled so as to be curved upward, and then returned to the starting-edge side of the transfer passage 12 by the release of the pinching tool 18. |
