摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to efficiently take up and unwind a suspension ropes between take-up drums. SOLUTION: A flighted scraping frame 4 disposed along the bottom 1a of a settling tank 1 is suspended and supported by means of the suspension ropes 5, 6, 7 and 8 of two front and rear pieces as a pair at the front and rear parts thereof. A pair of the front and rear suspension ropes are respectively taken up by the take-up drums 9, 10, 11 and 12 arranged at predetermined intervals in the front and rear positions of the oscillation direction of the scraping frame. When sludge is scraped by oscillating the scraping frame 4 toward the sludge scraping direction by the control of the taking-up and unwinding of the ropes by both of these take-up drums, one of one set of motors M1 and M2 for respectively driving the respective take-up drums is preferentially rotated and the rope length of the suspension ropes 6 and 8 changed by the rotation of the preferential side motor M1 is measured. The required length of the suspension ropes 5 and 7 on the other motor M2 side is computed in accordance with the measured value and the rotation of the other motor M2 is controlled with the target value as a target, by which the taking up and unwinding of the suspension ropes 5 and 7 are executed.
