<p>NEW MATERIAL:The N-substituted alkoxyimide derivative of formula I (R1 and R2 are H, lower alkyl or halogen; R3 is H or methyl; Z is group of formula II, -CH2-CH2-, -CH=CH- or group of formula III; R4 is H, lower alkyl or halogen; n is 1-4). EXAMPLE:N-2-(4-Phenoxyphenoxy)ethoxyphthalimide. USE:Useful as an intermediate for the preparation of an oxime ether derivative effective to control noxious vermin. The oxime ether derivative is an agent to control the agricultural, horticultural and forestry vermin, the grain vermin, the house vermin, etc. effectively at a low concentration. PREPARATION:The compound of formula I can be prepared by reacting 1mol of the compound of formula IV (A is halogen, tosyloxy, or mesyloxy) with preferably 0.8-1.2mol of the compound of formula V in the presence of an acid acceptor, preferably in a solvent such as benzene.</p> |
