PURPOSE:To obtain a corrosion inhibitor having superior power to inhibit the corrosion of copper and iron by adding an Al compound such as Al(NO3)3, AlCl3 or Al2(SO4)3 and a triazole compound or a thiazole compound as effective components. CONSTITUTION:A corrosion inhibitor is obtd. by adding an Al compound selected among Al(NO3)3, AlCl3, Al2(SO4)3, a double salt thereof and a polynuclear Al compex derived from the salt and one or more kinds of compounds selected among triazole compounds and thiazole compound as effective components in 1:10-10:1 concn. ratio. The polynuclear Al complex has a hydroxy bridge or an oxo bridge. The triazole compounds include 3-amino-1H-1,2,4-triazole, and the thiazole compounds include thiazole. |
