The present invention relates to a T cell activating agent containing dendritic cells (DC) treated with virus-treated antigen and/or dendritic cells treated separately with virus and antigen, which may be used as a vaccine to stimulate an immune response in a patient obtainable by the activation of antigen-specific T cells (TC) <i>in vivo</i>, to a composition containing activated TC which are activated by the T cell activating agent <i>in vitro</i>, to a pharmaceutical composition containing the T cell activating agent and/or the composition as well as to methods for their production. |
