<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an effective computer-aided diagnostic device even in the case where an object signal is feeble and hard to be detected in a nondestructive inspection such as concrete exfoliation examination or in the case where an unknown signal is mixed therein. SOLUTION: This device is mainly composed of a signal input means for inputting an original signal derived from a test body, a signal separation means for separating the original signal into plural signals, a characteristic extraction means for extracting a characteristic of the test based on at least a part of the plural separated signals, and a diagnostic result presentation means for presenting the characteristic as a diagnostic result to a user. The signal separation means is equipped with a first separation processing means based on independent component analysis, a second separation processing means based on correlation extraction analysis, and a signal characteristic detection means for detecting a statistical characteristic of the original signal, and the original signal is separated into plural signals by either separation processing means selected according to the detected signal characteristic from between the first and second separation processing means.</p> |
