PURPOSE:To prevent erroneous detection by preventing the output of a duty detecting circuit for current detection from being sent out when a power supply is turned on. CONSTITUTION:Lines 2 and 3 from a power source 10 to a load 1 piece the core 43 of the saturable reactor 41 of a magnetic multivibrator circuit 4. The circuit 4 turns on transistors (TR) 46 and 47 alternately with a 50% duty to charge capacitors C2 and C3. Their outputs are sent to a duty detecting circuit F. If leakage occurs, the duty of the circuit 4 varies and a detecting circuit F generates an output. The detecting circuit F is so constituted as to generate no output when the power supply is turned on, so a leak current is never detected erroneously.
