HOLDER OF PIEZOELECTRIC DEVICE CHIP

摘要

PURPOSE:To stabilize the resonance frequency of a piezoelectric device in a simple way and without increasing the cost by forming a cut groove along the boundary between a flange and the base main body part. CONSTITUTION:A cut groove 11 is formed along the area close to the boundary between a piezoelectric device chip holding stage 3 of the base of a holder 2 and a flange part 8 which extends to the bottom part around the stage 3 is connected airtight to the fringe of a sealing cover which seals the piezoelectric device chip. Thus the distortions generated to the flange 8 are concentrated to the groove 11 by crushing a projection 9 of the flange 8. Therefore these distortions are never transmitted to the side of the base main body especially to the stage 3. Furthermore the cost is not specially increased since the groove 11 can be formed simultaneously with production of the base.
