PURPOSE:To attain efficient picture processing with fast output speed and small memory capacity by reading sequentially the same bit location of a picture data stored in n-set of buffers so as to obtain the picture data converted vertically. CONSTITUTION:When various parameter commands are given to a CPU 30, the CPU 30 stores a data required for the internal memory and commands the start of operation. The picture signal obtained by scanning an original is stored to the 1st line of a bufer group 21 at each byte. When data for 8 lines' share is stored, the CPU 30 selects a buffer group 22, and the data is read from the buffer group 21. A selecting means 26 selects a serial data control section 24 or a V/H conversion control section 25 by a command from the CPU 30. Then the V/H conversion control section 25 inputs data from the buffer group 21 simultaneously for the 8 lines and outputs the same bit of each line in the unit of byte. |
