PURPOSE:To obtain the titled composition suitable for a durable agricultural covering material having remarkably improved weather resistance, by compounding an alkanedisulfonic acid ester compound and an epoxy compound to a vinyl chloride resin. CONSTITUTION:100pts.wt. of a vinyl chloride resin is compounded with (A) 1- 50pts.wt. of the alkanedisulfonic acid ester compound of formula (X and Y are alkyl or aryl; R is alkylene) and (B) 0.2-10pts.wt., preferably 1-5pts.wt. of an epoxy compound. The ester compound is preferably a compound of formula wherein X and Y are phenyl which may have one to three 1-4C alkyl groups, and R is 6-22C alkylene, preferably 10-18C alkylene. The epoxy compound is e.g. epoxidized soybean oil, etc.
