PURPOSE:To provide a polyamide elastomer having excellent flexibility and improved hydrophilic property and mechanical strength, and composed of a polyamide unit and a polyether ester unit each derived from respective specific component. CONSTITUTION:The objective elastomer is composed of (A) 5-70wt% of a polyamide unit derived from (i) a 4-10C aliphatic dicarboxylic acid, (ii) a 4-6C aliphatic diamine, (iii) a dicarboxylic acid having piperazine or piperidine ring and/or (iv) a diamine and (B) 95-30wt% of a polyether ester unit derived from (v) poly(alkylene oxide) glycol having a number-average molecular weight of 250-4,000 and (vi) a 4-20C dicarboxylic acid, wherein the amount of the components (iii)+(iv), the component (iii) or the component (iv) is 1-70mol% based on the sum of the components (i)-(iv), the components (i)+(iii) or the components (ii)+(iv).
