PURPOSE:To reduce C axial dispersion in the perpendicular direction to the surface, and to enhance perpendicularly magnetizing characteristic and corrosion resistance of the titled material by a method wherein a magnetic film consisting of cobalt, chrome and phosphorus is provided on a substrate or laminated on a high permeability layer formed on the substrate. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic film is consisting of Co, Cr and P. Co content is made to 65wt%. When it exceeds 85wt%, perpendicular orientation is deteriorated, and moreover, when it is made to less than 65wt%, saturated magnetization Ms is reduced remarkably. Cr content is made to 10-25wt%. When it exceeds 25wt%, saturated magnetization is reduced remarkably, and moreover, when it is made to less than 10wt%, Mr(rt. angle)/Mr(//) is reduced. P content is made to 1- 10wt%. When it exceeds 10wt%, reduction of saturated magnetization becomes remarkably. when P content is made to less than 1wt%, the effect of perpendicular orientation is reduced. Moreover, it is favorable to form a high permeability layer, a layer consisting of Permalloy, for example, between a substrate and the magnetic film. |
