PURPOSE:To obtain a bent plate-shaped product such as a roof material, etc., which has no edge wave and has a good external appearance shape by performing an uneven working at every prescribed interval simultaneously with bending in a nearer position to the side edge than a bending position, when bending a metallic plate material by a roll. CONSTITUTION:When bending a metallic plate material 3, a recessed part 1b is provided on a delivery part 1a of a lower roll 1, and a projecting part 2b is provided on a bottom part 2a of an upper roll 2. This recessed part 1b and the projecting part 2b are provided at every prescribed interval so that the former is fitted into the latter at the most adjacent position. When the upper and lower rolls 2, 1 rotate at the same circumferential speed, the recessed part 1b and the projecting part 2b become a fitted-in state whenever they rotate by a prescribed angle. When the metallic plate material 3 is made to pass through such a set of rolls, its side edge part can be bent to a desired shape, and simultaneously, an uneven working can be performed at every prescribed interval. For instance, a bent plate roof material 5, etc. having no edge wave can be formed by providing a recessed part 5a on the side edge part. |
