PURPOSE:To obtain a positive electrode which has a better battery characteristic and can be favorably machined by causing the positive electrode to contain an ion-conducting solid composition consisting of polyfluorovinylidene, gamma-butyrolactone and lithium perchlorate. CONSTITUTION:An ion-conducting solid composition consisting of polyfluorovinylidene, gamma-butyrolactone and lithium perchlorate, is used in making a positive electrode for a battery. It is preferred that the proportion of the ion-conducting solid composition in the positive electrode be adjusted to 10-30pts.wt. For instance, after such a positive electrode 1, a diaphragm 2 and a negative electrode 3 are stacked in exterior cases 4 and 5 to which an insulating ring 6 is attached, the battery is sealed by caulking, thereby constituting a coin-type battery. |
