PURPOSE:To make masking operations so as to become useless, by shifting a tool to the specified distance away when electrically detecting a fact that the conductive rotary tool removes a film on a work and contacts an electric conductor, in case of a film stripper for a printed circuit board. CONSTITUTION:In order to remove a film 5 on a printed circuit board 7, its electrode part 4 is set to just under a conductive rotary tool 19, and with a signal out of a control unit 24, the tool 19 is made to go down via a pulse motor 15, while a rotary shaft 18 is rotated and the film 5 is stripped therefrom. Making progress in stripping operation, when a tip of the tool 19 contacts a metallic film 2, the control unit 24 transmits a pulse commensurate to the depth of cut in the specified value, for example, of 15-30mu to a pulse motor 15, and then turns a control circuit 26 to OFF. After cutting as far as this specified depth of cut, the pulse motor 15 is rotated in the reverse direction, making the tool 19 go upward. Thus troublesome masking operations for the electrode part is made to be unnecessary, and the quality of an electric conductor is amply maintainable without cutting it too much beyond the necessity. |
