PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a processing device capable of easily and surely installing a thread cassette on a device body (a driving lever). SOLUTION: Since a guide part 32 for guiding the thread cassette 5 when installing the thread cassette 5 in a prescribed attitude is arranged in a safety cover 3 having upper opening moving clearance 3a for rockingly moving the thread cassette 5 and the driving lever 11, only by inserting the thread cassette 5 downward along the guide part 32 arranged in the safety cover 3 by gripping the thread cassette 5 in the prescribed attitude, the thread cassette 5 can be easily installed on the driving lever 11 without relying on visual observation from the moving clearance 3a.
