PURPOSE:To miniaturize a carburetor as a whole, by installing a variable choke (Venturi) carburetor and a fixed-choke carburetor as a common float chamber. CONSTITUTION:Both main air passages 11 and 21 of a variable choke carburetor 13 and a fixed-choke carburetor 2 are installed on top of one float chamber 3, forming them into a tow-barrel carburetor in version. The variable choke carburetor is excellent in transient responsiveness but when two units are set up in parallel as a tow-barrel type, it takes space too much. For this reason, one unit of them is to be the fixed choke carburetor to solve this overspacious problem. What is more, the float chamber is made to use in common. With this constitution, miniaturization on the whole comes to fruition. |
