PURPOSE:To decrease loss by providing a prescribed auxiliary molten metal passage which changes over the molten metal passage of a casting line for mass production and utilizing the molten metal flowing continuously and stably for casting a product manufactured in a small lot as it is. CONSTITUTION:A spout 4 is provided in the intermediate position of a spout 3 forming a molten metal passage from a melting furnace 1 to a casting machine 2 for the product manufactured in a large lot to form a molten metal passage up to a casting machine for the product manufactured in a small lot. The part 4-2 forward from the middle of the spout 4 is made freely turnable. The part 4-2 is made straight to couple directly the molten metal passage in the case of using the above-described casting machine for the small-lot production. The molten metal flowing continuously and stably is thus utilized as it is for casting the product manufactured in a small lot, by which the loss is decreased. |
