PURPOSE:To decrease a loss of speed energy of low pressure steam, by providing introducing holes of steam diagonally to a turbine shaft from the whole periphery of the bottom part of a low pressure steam introducing chest in a mixed pressure turbine to the inside of its casing. CONSTITUTION:A steam introducing chest 3 is provided over the full circumference of a turbine casing 2 in a low pressure steam introducing part E. Then steam introducing holes 4, diagonally formed to a turbine shaft from the whole periphery of the bottom part of the steam introducing chest 3 toward a low pressure stage part L in the casing 2, are provided. In this way, a component of speed energy of low pressure steam in the axial direction of a turbine can be increased, thus enabling a loss of the speed energy to be decreased. |
