PURPOSE:To obtain a magnetic coating film having excellent surface smoothness by incorporating the magnetic powder coated with the resultant product of reaction between a specific compd. having an isocyanate group and a specific ester compd. having a hydroxyl group into said film. CONSTITUTION:The resultant product of reaction between an acid or acid anhydride selected from a fatty acid, alkyl or alkenyl succinic acid or the anhydride thereof and monobasic or polybasic oxy acid and a compd. selected from an ester compd. obtd. by reaction of a compd. having a hydroxyl group selected from higher alcohol, a compd. added with alkylene oxide to higher alcohol, alkyl phenol, a compd. added with alkylene oxide to alkyl phenol, polyhydric alcohol and a compd. added with alkylene oxide to polyhydric alcohol and a polyisocyanate compd. having 2 or >=3 isocyanate groups and an isocyanate compd. having a hydrolyzable alkoxysilane and 1 or >=2 isocyanate groups is used. |
