PURPOSE:To manufacture easily a metallic box body to a vessel by combining the first member bent in a U-shape by forming a receiving part on a metallic plate material of Al, etc., with the second member of a horizontal U-shape which is fitted to this receiving part. CONSTITUTION:A receiving part 10b is projected in the lengthwise direction, extruded and formed on both side parts of a metallic rectangular plate material 11 made of Al, etc., its receiving part is cut off at a prescribed position 10d, and said material is bent to right angles at the cutoff part 10d so that the receiving part 10b constitutes the inside, by which the first member 12 of a U-shape is made. Subsequently, the second member 22 of a horizontal U-shape which is made of a metallic plate material of Al, etc. and whose cross section shape conforms with said first member 12 is manufactured in the same way, and a box body is formed by fitting a leg plate part 20a of the second member 22 to the outside of the receiving part 10b of the first member 12. In this way, a metallic box body is combined and formed simply and easily. |
