PURPOSE:To prevent a pedal from being locked due to erroneously treading on a clutch pedal during traveling by providing in the vicinity of the pedal a lock device, a hook of which does not come to be engaged with a key on the body side even in case of treading on the pedal. CONSTITUTION:Upon treading on a pedal 12 in a condition where the tip of a lock device 23 is disengaged from an engaging hole 25 of a U-shaped metal fitting 19, the pedal 12 sways against elastic force of a spring 14 and overlapping of a hook 13 with a clutch rod 15 is removed. The hook 13 is projected forward from the clutch rod 15 and, through treading on the pedal 12 in this condition, the hook 13 is engaged with a key 21 and the pedal 12 is locked. On the other hand, the lock device 23 is pushed in and the hook 13 is connected with the U- shaped metal fitting 19 at the time of traveling on a road. In this case, since the pedal 12 is not turned round the shaft 20 even by treading on it, the hook 13 and the clutch rod 15 remain overlapped with each other, and the hook 13 is not engaged with the key 21 due to hindrance by the clutch rod 15. |
