The invention relates to a transportable device for extinguishing fires. According to the invention, it comprises a container 10 provided with supporting damping legs 12 with orientable bearing feet 14; a unit 22 for expelling the fire-fighting liquid which it contains is fastened removably to the container 10; this unit 22 comprises a motor-driven pump 24 and a flexible spraying tube 26 rolled up on a reel 28.
