摘要 In known high-pressure screw presses, a piston in a high-pressure cylinder is moved by rotation of a screw thread and thus a higher fluid pressure is produced. The forces and thus the piston displacements are relatively small on account of the simple screw transmission so that larger connected pieces of equipment cannot be put under pressure or can only be put under pressure with difficulty. In the claimed geared screw press, the insertion of the piston into the cylinder is shifted to the rear side of the press in order to obtain greater forces. There is then space at the front side of the press for a two-stage or multi-stage, hand-operated or motor-operated gearing which synchronously drives 3 screw spindles via 3 gears. The screw spindles carried in ball bearings are directed past the pressure cylinder. They move a yoke on the rear side of the screw press when they rotate, which yoke drives the high-pressure piston in the cylinder forwards. All parts are readily accessible; e.g. the high-pressure seal on the piston can be exchanged in a few minutes with little assembly work. Desired pressures can be set quickly and precisely and if need be can be controlled via a stepping motor. The position of the piston is in each case indicated automatically. The basic equipment - consisting of gearing, supply container, backing pump and valves - is always the same for various pressure ranges.
