PURPOSE:To improve the precision of a receiving and recording system by recording the FAX signal from a meteorological satellite together with a clock signal on an audio tape recorder and reproducing these signals and subjecting them to A/D conversion and displaying them after picture processing. CONSTITUTION:The FAX signal from a meteorological satellite 10 is received by a receiving unit 20 including an antenna 21 and is converted to an FM signal and is demodulated by a demodulator 31 in a demodulating part to become an AM signal of 2.4kHz and is recorded on an audio tape recorder 40 together with the output of a clock oscillator 51. When this tape is reproduced, the AM signal is supplied to an A/D converter 34 through a filter 32 and an AM demodulator 33, and a digital signal of a picture signal is inputted to a computer interface 53, and the picture signal is processed in a personal computer 60 with the reporduced clock signal as the reference of the time base and is displayed directly on a display device or printed by a printer 70. |
