<p>PURPOSE:To detect the position of a moving body securely and easily by detecting the time interval between a pulse applied to a couple of signal transmission lines and its reflected pulse. CONSTITUTION:The pulse outputted from a pulse oscillator 4 is applied to the signal transmission lines 1a and 1b through a connector 3 and also inputted to a detecting circuit 5. The pulse applied to the signal lines 1a and 1b is transmitted through the transmission lines 1a and 1b and reflected by the contactor 8 of the moving body 7 to return to the connector 3. The reflected pulse returning to the connector 3 is inputted to the detecting circuit 5. The detecting circuit 5 measures the time interval between the applied pulse and reflected pulse and the display device 6 displays the result as the position of the moving body 7.</p> |
