PURPOSE:To improve the reliability of a rotary electric machine by supporting an air cooler by a bearing unit, thereby reducing the number of exciting frequency to support the cooler. CONSTITUTION:An air cooler 4 is supported through a coupling part 5 to a bearing unit 3, and a packing 6 formed of rubber due to ventilation structure is inserted between the cooler 4 and a stator frame 1. The weight applied to the frame 1 of the weight of the cooler 4 is 1% or less. The weight of the cooler 4 is almost applied to the unit 3, an exciting source which exists in the frame 1 is not transmitted to the cooler 4, and the vibration to the cooler 4 is fully transmitted from the unit 3. |
