<p>Spraying apparatus for spraying cleaning fluids, plant protection agents or other sprayable fluids, comprises a hand-operated instrument (10) which is connected via a pressure pipe (12,32) with at least one pressure generator (22) and which is arranged to discharge a fluid medium under high pressure, and also comprises a secondary pipe in the form of an overload circuit (48), which runs parallel to the pressure generator and is provided with a safety valve (46) which is arranged to open at an adjustable predetermined pressure, for recycling the medium to the suction side of the pressure generator. In order to ensure that an undesired rise in temperature of the fluid medium to be sprayed does not occur within the apparatus, a temperature sensor (50) is provided for sensing the temperature in the pressure pipe (32) and to control, in dependence upon the value of the sensed temperature, an electric motor (24) which is provided for driving the pressure generator (22), in such a way that the motor is switched off when a previously determinable temperature is reached. <IMAGE></p> |
