PURPOSE:To manufacture a hollow skin body lined with a fabrics free of wrinkle by a method wherein a thermoplastic resin film is attached to the back of a fabrics or an adhesive is applied thereon and the fabrics is put tight on the recessed inner surface for molding of a mold completely by a vacuum suction. CONSTITUTION:A segmental mold 11 is positioned about a cylindrical parison 10 made of a synthetic resin extruded from a molding die 9. Then, a fabrics layer having a thermoplastic resin film 7 or an adhesive or both thereof attached to the back of a fabrics 6 is set on at least one of the molds in such a manner that the fabrics faces the recessed surface for molding. Then, the fabrics layer 5 is put tight on the recessed surface for molding of the mold by vacuum absorption, subsequently the segmental mold is closed and a compressed air introduced into the parison to press the parison on the fabrics layer under heat. The hollow skin body with a fabrics can be used for interio parts of automobiles such as head rest and arm rest. |
