An indoor unit of a split type air conditioner is provided to reduce the number of parts by mounting a display assembly displaying an operational state at a discharge grill without additional combination members, thereby improving the productivity and reducing the manufacturing cost. A heat exchanger passes air moved into an indoor unit for heat exchange. A discharge grill(180) guides a discharge direction of the air exchanged heat by the heat exchanger. A display assembly(200) is mounted at one side of the discharge grill for displaying an operational state of the indoor unit. The display assembly is mounted at the discharge grill without additional combination members. A regulating rib(240) and an elastic rib(260) are protruded at the inside of the discharge grill for regulating both sides of the display assembly to restrict movement of the display assembly. |
