<p>PURPOSE:To provide the titled ink which has improved ejection stability, ink droplet efficiency, reliability of an ink jet device and ink particle stability, by dissolving a water-soluble dye, a wetting agent and a specified xanthine (derivative) in water. CONSTITUTION:0.01-2.0wt% xanthine (derivative) of the formula (wherein R1- R3 are each H, lower alkyl, OH) and optionally a water-soluble solvent (e.g. dioxane), an antiseptic-mildewproofing agent (e.g. butyl p-hydroxybenzoate), a pH adjustor (e.g. diethanolamine), etc. are added to an ink compsn. obtd. by dissolving a water-soluble dye (e.g. Direct Black 2) and a wetting agent which is liquid at room temp. (e.g. diethylene glycol) in water. EFFECT:Ink contg. the dye at a high concn. can be provided, and color reflection density or reflection density per dot can be enhanced.</p> |
