PURPOSE:To prevent excessive concentration of mixed gas due to adhering of fuel onto a secondary-side intake passage by reducing the fuel supply amount during the transition from the high load operation state to the low-load operation state, in a fuel feeder equipped with the primary side and the secondary side intake passages. CONSTITUTION:In low loading, mixed gas is supplied from only a primary- side intake passage 11 to an engine 1 by the operation of a primary-side fuel injection valve 13, and in high loading, also a secondary-side fuel injection valve 14 is operated to feed mixed gas from the secondary-side intake passage 12 into the engine 1. A control unit 16 equipped with a fuel injection amount control means, fuel feed stop timing detecting means, and a fuel reducing means is provided. When stop of the operation of the secondary-side fuel injection valve 14 is detected during the transition from high load operation to low load operation, the fuel injection amount from a primary-side fuel injection valve 13 is reduced. Therefore, the excessive concentration of mixed gas due to the fact that the fuel adheres onto the inner wall-surface of the secondary intake passage 12 is introduced is prevented.
