PURPOSE:To equalize and control the temperature of a slush molding metal mold at a high accuracy by such an arrangement wherein the metal mold is directly heated or cooled by causing a medium for heating, or that for cooling, to flow through passages provided in the metal mold. CONSTITUTION:A forming metal mold 1 wherein passages 2, 3 which are parallel to each other and intended for heating fluid and cooling fluid respectively are provided, and flow-rate adjusting valves 4, 17 are arranged in said passages and a purging device is connected to said passage of heating fluid is used, and first of all, heated oil is caused to flow by opening an electromagnetic change-over valve 10 at the side of a piping 2 for heating and the forming mold 1 is heated. As the forming mold reaches at a preset temperature, vinyl chloride compound is thrown in the forming mold, and the forming mold is rotated and the vinyl chloride is taken out of the mold. As the vinyl chloride compound is hardened, the heating oil is purged, cooling water is caused to flow through a hole 1b in the forming mold by opening the electromagnetic changeover valve 14 and the forming mold is cooled. By this arrangement, the temperature of the metal mold is equalized and its control is made easier. |
