PURPOSE:To make the captioned device easily adapted to milling machines or others already sold in the market, by increasing the speed of a motor via pulleys and two belts and turning a tool mounted on the spindle assembly in a machine tool. CONSTITUTION:A spindle speed-up device 10 has a sequring member 12 adapted for securing the device to a machine tool M, and upper and lower bed plates 14 and 16, are integrated with said securing member 12 in two steps. The upper bed plate 14 firmly carries a motor 18 of the device 10, and an arm member 24 is pivotally mounted through a pin 26 on the lower bed plate 16. A spindle assembly A is mounted on the main shaft S of the machine tool M. When the motor 18 is without rotating the main shaft S, the rotation of a rotary shaft 20 is transmitted through a first pulley 22, a first belt 34, and a second pulley 30 rotate a shaft 28, whose rotation is then transmitted through a third pullet 32 and a second belt 40 to a pulley 38 of the spindle assembly A so as to rotate a tool T carried by the spindle assembly A. |
