An unmanned cargo conveying apparatus using a monorail is provided to convey cargos in any working environment and stably convey heavy cargos. An unmanned cargo conveying apparatus using a monorail(20) includes a traveling unit, a first position sensor, a control section, a loading section elevating unit, and a loading section. The traveling unit is supported by the monorail. The first position sensor is installed on the monorail to detect the traveling position of the traveling unit. The control section controls the traveling unit on the basis of a detection signal of the first position sensor. The loading section elevating unit is provided in the traveling unit. The loading section is connected to the loading section elevating unit to be moved up and down. The loading section moves a cargo box up and down.
