PURPOSE:To make temperature coefft. uniform and small and to improve magnetic characteristics by composing a soft magnetic material of specified proportion of ferric oxide, nickel oxide, zinc oxide, lithium oxide, and cobalt oxide. CONSTITUTION:A soft magnetic material comprising a compsn. consisting of 45-64mol% Fe2O3, 10-50mol% nickel oxide, <=40mol% ZnO, and 0.1-7mol% Li2O, admixed further with 0.01-1wt% cobalt oxide. The content of the above described Fe2O3 corresponds to the amt. expressed by the chemical formula: MFe2O4 (where M is a divalent metallic ion) or by 5% less than said value. The soft magnetic material has a uniform and small temperature coefft. together with superior magnetic characteristics. When it is used in combination with a capacitor or a variable capacity diode, etc., superior temperature compensation is attained. |
