PURPOSE:To vary the brake exciting condition of a step motor by providing a timer for measuring the lapse time from reception of a previous step motor drive signal to reception of this time step motor drive signal and a table for storing the brake condition corresponding to the lapse time. CONSTITUTION:A signal loading circuit 1 inputs a step motor drive signal outputted from an upstream side brake unit through a signal bus, a memory 2 stores an excitation mode after receiving the previous step motor drive signal, and a memory 3 stores an excitation mode after receiving this time step motor drive signal. A timer 4 measues the lapse time from reception of the previous step motor drive signal to reception of this time stepmotor drive signal, and stores the optimum brake exciting condition corresponding to the lapse time. A multiplexer 6 outputs the contents of the memories 2, 3 to an exciter 7 in accordance with the condition of the table 5 corresponding to the lapse time measured by the timer 4. In this manner the brake exciting condition can be varied in response to the moving condition of a moving element. |
