PURPOSE:To prevent the flow-out of grease in a bearing, by providing a pressure reducing passage communicating a gap between the side end face of a rotor making in contact with the surface of the bearing and the inner surface of a side housing, with an inlet chamber. CONSTITUTION:The outer surface of a bearing chamber 18 makes in contact with a mechanical seal chamber 13, and the inner surface of the bearing member 18 makes in contact with high pressure fluid which flows from a compression side working chamber through a gap between the side end face of a rotor 10 and the inner surface of a front side housing 21 into a manifold groove 11 formed in the inner peripheral surface of the housing 21. The high pressure fluid passes successively through the manifold groove 73 serving as a pressure reducing circuit, vane grooves 15,a low pressure groove 59, a low pressure passage 58 and a suction hole 52, and flows into a suction chamber. Accordingly, the amount of fluid which leaks to the outside through a gap in the bearing is small, thereby no grease in the bearings is carried away by fluid.
