<p>PURPOSE:To provide a fastening unit of high strength in a slide fastener by compressing and welding a fastener tape and a synthetic resin piece using an ultrasonic horn or an anvil having small recession corresponding to a place to weld the fastener tape at the fastening unit of the synthetic resin piece. CONSTITUTION:When a thermoplastic synthetic resin piece 9 is put on the fastening unit of a fastener chain 1 and they are welded under compression by an anvil 5 and an ultrasonic horn 10 to provide a fastening unit, either said anvil 5 or said ultrasonic horn 10 welds said synthetic resin piece 9 and said fastening unit under compression by using an apparatus having a plurality of small recessions 16 at a place corresponding to a portion for sticking the fastener tape 2 in said fastening unit to said synthetic resin piece 9. In this manner, it is possible to provide a flexible fastening unit having high sticking strength of a synthetic resin piece to a fastener tape.</p> |
