PURPOSE:To improve acceleration and efficiency of fuel consumption by setting the speed changing speed of an infinitely variable gear to a greater value, the greater the time varying ratio of a suction system throttle opening is in accordance with the vehicle speed. CONSTITUTION:The speed changing speed of a CVT4 is set to the greater value the greater the time varying ratio of a suction system throttle opening theta is in accordance with vehicle speed. Thereby, when the time varying ratio of the suction system throttle opening theta is great and great acceleration is required, the speed varying speed is set to a great value generating rapid acceleration. Whereas, when the time varying ratio of the suction system throttle opening theta is small and not so great acceleration is required, the speed varying speed is set to a small value improving the efficiency of the fuel consumption. |
