PURPOSE:To reduce change of the air to fuel ratio by permitting a passage throttling mechanism, having a head part protruding at the upper stream of a venturi and a bevel type pressure sensitive platemating an LPG fuel nozzle at the end of the downstream of said venturi, to operate under the action of suction neg. pressure. CONSTITUTION:A passage throttling mechanism 7 is installed at a venturi part 2 furnished in the suction passage 1, wherein a throttle element 9 is vertical movably fitted on a shaft 8, installed at the center of the passage in the understream of venturi, and is energized by a spring toward the upper stream. Construction of this throttle element 9 is such that a large dia. head 12 is formed in the upper part of an intermediate neck part 11, that a bevel type pressure receiving part 13 with its size increasing downward is provided in the lower part, and that they are consolidated so as to constitute a pressure sensitive plate 14. In normal state, the head 12 protrudes at the upper stream of venturi while the pressure sensitive plate 14 mates with a nozzle 3 at the downstream of venturi. When the venturi neg. pressure has exceeded a certain specified level, the pressure receiving surface 14 of the pressure sensitive plate 14 pulls in the throttle element 9 against the action of said spring 10 to allow the head 12 to squeeze the venturi part. Thus the fuel fed through the nozzle 3 is increased. |
