PURPOSE:To enhance the starting ability of an engine, by obtaining a desired fuel pressure in accordance with the rotational speed of the engine and as well by conducting the feed-back control of the actual fuel pressure of the engine in order to make the actual pressure equal to the desired value. CONSTITUTION:An optimum fuel pressure is read out from an ROM in accordance with an accelerator opening degree signal from an accelerator sensor 8. Utilizing the thus obtained optimum signal as a desired value, the duty ratio of valve opening pulses delivered to an electromagnetic regulator valve 4a is controlled to be increased or decreased so that a fuel pressure detected by a pressure sensor is made equal to the desired value. With this arrangement the starting ability of the engine may be enhanced. |
