摘要 In positive-displacement motors, the pressures occurring in the displacement spaces and the resulting movements are converted via mechanical components into torques and rotary movements, while, in the case of positive-displacement pumps and compressors, the reverse is true. The parts moved under the effects of pressure perform movements relative to one another, only some components of the pressure forces being converted into useful work; other components, on the other hand, must be supported with friction. According to the invention, the pressure forces which are not used for torque formation are, where flexible pressure-transmitting components are provided, accepted by means of a flexible tie. As a result, it is possible to dispense with thrust bearings, which account for a considerable proportion of the construction outlay in conventional positive-displacement machines and represent significant sources of frictional losses and wear. The invention makes possible positive-displacement machines with better efficiency, a higher power density, a longer life and a lower cost. Further developments of the subject-matter of the invention concern advantageous combinations of a plurality of positive-displacement machines, the advantageous embodiment of a valve control of the subject-matter of the invention and the adjustment of the displacement or compression ratio. <IMAGE>
