PURPOSE:To convey a developer excellently in the initial rotation of a magnet and a cylndrical rotating body by rotating the magnet earlier than the cylindrical rotating body during developer supply. CONSTITUTION:A developing roll consists of a sleeve 13 which is the cylindrical rotating body and the magnet 14 arranged in the sleeve 13. When the developer is supplied, a prescribed driving mechanism rotates the magnet 14 earlier than the sleeve 13 with some time difference. Consequently, the ability to convey toner (a) is increased instantaneously in the initial rotation, and the toner (a) neither swells nor falls, conveying the developer excellently. |
