PURPOSE:To correct a wheel speed properly regardless of whether the wheel speed is abnormal or not by discriminating that a wheel speed calculated on the basis of current wheel speed pulses is abnormal when the difference between the current calculated wheel speed and wheel speed which is previously outputted increases above a prescribed value. CONSTITUTION:A wheel speed arithmetic part 31 calculates the current wheel speed on the basis of the pulse period of wheel speed pulses, and the arithmetic result is stored in the 1st wheel speed memory 34. The current wheel speed from the 1st wheel speed memory 34 and the preceding output wheel speed from the 2nd wheel speed memory 50 are inputted to a wheel speed abnormality discriminating part 51, which outputs an abnormality signal when the difference between the both exceeds the prescribed value. This abnormality signal switches a changeover switch 52 for correction from a normal mode I to an abnormal mode II. Therefore, the wheel speed stored in the wheel speed memory 50 is outputted and stored in the wheel speed memory 50 again in abnormal mode II. |
